It took the better part of three weeks to arrive from China. I bought this to use on a motorcycle as a dimmer for two 12V x 1.5 amp LED passing lamps (about 40 watt total load). The feature which made me select this model over others is that the rotary "knob" connects to the circuit board by way of a plug-in pigtail allowing some flexibility in terms of locating the knob remotely from circuit board. The pigtail is about 8" long. I located the circuit board under the seat and mounted the knob in an outside panel below my left hip. With the LED's it's controlling the device does not provide a nice linear dimming effect but rather there's little effect over the first 40% of knob rotation and then the lights dim to off over the next 40% of rotation. The lights are still about 20% their maximum brilliance when they turn off. The device does not produce any noise interference with my audio equipment.
