After I assembled the generator and filled it with gasoline it ran like a champ right out of the box. However, I had problems getting it to run on natural gas and/or LP gas. The manual is very poorly written and really needs to be re-written. It appears that it was translated from another language and is very difficult to understand at times. After doing some reseach on the internet, I found that the choke must be opened for starting on natural gas or LPG (the manual says it should be closed for starting). After opening the choke, I was finally able to get the generator started on these fuels. Once started, it ran really rough and ran extrememly hot. After a bit more research, it appears that it was running way to rich (on NG and LPG, it is better to run lean which is just opposite of how you run on gasoline). I adjusted the gas flow screw (which the manual says that you are never supposed to adjust) to lean it out and it started running much smoother and cooler. After these few adjustments, it runs like a champ. Only other issue I have is that technical support is really hard to get a hold of. They would never call back and I had to keep calling until I did finally get a hold of them. If you are comfortable with working with gas and are willing to "tweek" the regulator, then this generator is an excellent product (especially for the money). But out of the box it does not run well on NG or LPG.Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Powerland PD3G10000E 10,000 Watt Tri-Fuel 16 HP Gas/Propane/Natural Gas Powered Portable Generator With Electric Start" are high quality item.
