TruPower 6V Solar Charge Controller Review

There were no instruction with this unit and almost nothing on the web.
Connect your battery to the appropriate +- screws indicated by the battery symbol and connect your solar panel to the appropriate +- screws indicated by the panel symbol.
Do Not connect your load device to the screws indicated by the light bulb symbol because they will not power the device. Connect your load device straight to the battery along with the charge controller battery wires.
I am fairly confident that the controller protects the battery from being over charged because my deer feeders and game cameras have both worked flawlessly with the same battery for years. I have 4 of these units and I had one of the 4 fail to pass the charge from the solar panel after about 4-5yrs. I replaced it with exactly the same unit last year from Amazon
