Well, not being a big writer I don't usually write reviews, even on things I really like. However, after saving my roses twice, this thing deserves it. It kills all the bugs pestering them, and being a 3 in 1 product, it helps lower maintenance on an otherwise difficult plant (roses are susceptible to so many things!). I (shouldn't have) neglected them this whole summer, and by September they looked like they were on the brink of death (they had some identifiable diseases and pests). In fact, I thought they weren't revivable, but I tried anyway. I pruned them and sprayed them (always use goggles and gloves, safety first) and next thing I knew they were growing robustly again, budding even. I had my doubts when I first bought this, now I'm at my second bottle. The only downside I know of is the 'good' bugs that can be killed by it, and possible danger to other wildlife. This can be helped a bit by spraying directly as much as possible on the leaves/stem, and spraying sparingly. Oh yeah, and it smells bad, but that's only if you smell it directly which would be a pretty stupid thing to do. I never had to use it on other flower plants though, but for roses this is a must have. (However it can't prevent or kill rose viruses and bacterial infections!)

As for questions about the odor: I don't know about indoors. I only used it outside. Sorry. But then again, if you're growing your roses indoors, it's very unlikely to get diseases and pests. Unless your house has the conditions to grow the diseases, and they happen to be in your house, you probably won't need it.

First of all, I don't know why others say that this product doesn't work. I picked it up at a local Home Depot because this was the only safe Moss control (made from Oranges). I thought to myself "fine I would gamble on this one just to see if it would work, if it didn't work I would only be $15 down". The next day I applied it to one side of my roof and I left the other side untouched. I week later I went down there to look and all of the moss turned yellow. You be the judge btw I'm posting a picture here for you to see.

I couple of tips for you for application:

1. Wait for dry weather you don't want the rain to wash it away the next day.
2. Use a bristle metal brush to loosen moss roots (I'm not sure if this one is needed or not but I decided not to take chances since I didn't want to be $15 down, but in any case even in places where I didn't loosen up the roots the moss turned yellow. see picture)
3. Constantly shake the bottle when you are applying it otherwise water wouldn't mix with the solution very well and you will get a weak solution coming out of the hose.

I've been working on creating a great lawn and this stuff is just terrific when it comes to killing crabgrass, yellow nutsedge, and other broad leaf and grassy weeds. There is an informative you tube video created by the mfger of this that describes how to put it down. I used a 4 gal back pack sprayer and a blue tracing dye. I've added some pictures of what my crab grass looks like just 24 hours later. Zapo! I mixed it about 2 oz per gal and used it on my Jonathan Green Black Beauty Ultra lawn (fescue and Kentucky blue grass). I could have gone stronger, but this seemed to work fine. I also purchased it from do-your-own-pest supply. They had the very best price on one gal.

Please keep in mind that my lawn was borderline overrun by weeds and what I thought was possibly not salvageable. I would stress out just looking at it. I sprayed this stuff over my St Augustine (under trees) and Bermuda lawn. I saw some slight wilting of weeds after a couple days but I was wondering if the stuff would actually work. After approximately 5 days I decided to water my lawn. The next day all the weeds very wilted. As a few more days went by it was clear that the weeds were dead or in very sad shape. I then mowed and have never looked back. This product absolutely decimated my weeds. I really cannot say enough. After just one application and some Scott's Turf Builder fertlizer, my lawn is literally a lush expanse of turf grass and I previously had thought my situation was hopeless. I don't know if my results were typical but I can say this; the bottle is designed to cover 10,000 square feet but I used half the bottle on my 3000 square foot lawn. I did cover my lawn more thoroughly than the label recommended, but not a crazy amount.

I'm not sure why there are some reviews with so few stars. If you follow the directions for this product, it works great. My sodded lawn was one of the best in the neighborhood a few years ago. We had a drought, the lawn became infected with a couple/few different lawn diseases and then we had one of the worse lawns. I decided to start over. So I tilled the entire lawn, raked out the big pieces and leveled the ground. My timing wasn't good, I did all this just as Winter was setting in. I knew I was going to have to battle with crabgrass as my lawn would be thin to start Spring. Spring arrived, I sowed seeds and waited for the new grass to come in. As I assumed, crabgrass came in with the new, thin grass. This product worked well on the first treatment, but as my lawn still was not thick enough, crabgrass populted my lawn again. I treated once more and knocked the majority of it out. If I remember correctly, this Spring will be my 3rd full growing season. I expect my lawn to be nearly 100% by the end of this growing season. My brother-in-law has a lawn care business. He suggested it would take more than 1 growing season to get my lawn back to where I wanted (especially since I seeded instead of going with sod again). Keep your lawn thick and properly fetilized if you expect this product to work optimally. Be patient. If you're doing anything close to what I described above (establishing a new, seeded lawn), it will take a while. You will get there. Once you're there, don't let things get out of control else you'll have to start again.
