Purchased this model because I wanted a more heavy-duty, heavy gauge GFCI between an extension cord at work and my 110V Chevy Volt EV charger. However, this Voltec GFCI appears to be overly sensitive to apparent fluctuations in the power supply where my previous GFCI wasn't. In almost two years of continuous charging with my previous GFCI, it only triggered once due to electrical fluctuations. However, this Voltec model is triggering about every other day, each time causing the my car's alarm to sound due to the interrupt in charging. I have since returned to using my previous GFCI and the Voltec model is collecting dust.
