I really thought I was going to have to have my Grandpa hook this up since he's an Electrician BUT I wanted to give it a shot on my own first. I know knew nothing about home electrical wiring but after watching the INSTALL video on the Reliance-website, it turned out to be VERY easy and I learned a little know-how during the process. As far as the functionality of the box, LOVE IT! Easy to understand and use! U will however, most likely have to buy a Reliance L14-30 power cord. My Grandpa has several L14-30 ends so we thought we would be able to make one up and save some money BUT no luck, Reliance has there OWN plug type as most of these companies do.
