I just received this attic/gable fan and installed it on my chicken coup to exhaust the heat. The solar panel and fans seem to be of good quality, but the wire connectors are cheap. One of the connectors fell out of the box when I unpacked the fan because it wasn't properly crimped onto the wire, and another I could never get a good contact with, so I ended up just cutting them off and replacing the connectors with wire nuts. This must be an ongoing problem with this product because it is mentioned in the the trouble shooting portion of the pathetic installation guide that came in the box. Why not just get better connectors instead of telling your customers how to fix the problem? I really don't like buying a brand new product and having to fix it before I can use it.
Once I had all the connectors replaced the fan woked just fine, but I would not use this fan to exhaust an attic, it barely has enough power to push the air out of my small chicken coup.
