The Instapark PRS series solar charge controllers are designed and engineered to prevent your solar-powered battery from overcharging and excessive discharging, therefore protect your investment and extend the battery life. The PRS series solar charge controllers are equipped with PWM technology to ensure that your batteries reach their maximum charging capacities without causing any damage to the battery. I purchased and have been using this Instapark 15/15 controller for a couple of months, and now I am hurrying to purchase the 30 Amp unit. I expect the 30/30 controller to function as well as the 15 amp has done.

I have a 150 Watt Instapark solar panel that provides ample power to run a 12vDC/110vAC RV refrigerator and keeps the single deep cycle lead acid marine battery (Wal-Mart) fully charged, and the refrigerator stays at a constant 27 degrees day and night (altitude 8,000 ft). I will be replacing this 15 amp controller with the 30 amp unit because I have to be away from the system several days at a time and I want to be overly certain that nothing happens that would cause the cooling to fail while I am gone. These units are versatile, so if I care to I can add another battery in series to store and supply 24 volts and handle a greater number of watts...something like an old CTR TV set and a VCR to playback old movies, and an electric blanket. I will be employing this 15 amp controller and a 70 watt solar panel to power a 12v inline water pump to add some pressure to the shower I am building that will be fed from a 100 gallon water holding tank. I am so impressed with this 15 amp Instapark controller and panel that I will continue to use Instapark products whenever I need to add to my current systems, or if I build a new system. So simple, so effective, so inexpensive; and so far trouble free...!!!
