The Reliance Controls 10-circuit 50 Amp transfer switch features a patented design, making it the first easy-to-install, pre-wires loadside transfer switch with interchangeable 15-, 20-, and 30 Amp 1-inch circuit breakers. Designed for use with up to 12,500-watt generators, the transfer switch can handle a double-pole, 30 Amp circuit for powering central air conditioning, water heaters or large well pumps, while retaining the easy-to-use toggle switch control panel. It includes six 15-to-20 Amp, two 20 Amp DP, and two 30 Amp DP circuit breakers; two removable tie bars for 240 volt circuits; analog wattmeters to measure generator load; and a patented built-in wiring compartment. This unit is cUL 1008 listed and covered by a 5-year limited warranty.

This transfer switch is very high quality (made in USA). It comes pre-wired, i.e., all wires for all 10 circuits are color coded and lettered. With the clear cut directions provided, I was able to wire all circuits correctly first time, and I'm just a homeowner. If hiring an electrician, cost would be reduced as there's lots less labor than some other brands on the market. I ran the completed unit first on regular house current from the utility company, then from our new generator: everything worked great. Also, the price is extremely competitive: some other units cost up to $400 more. Great product and price!
