this was a pleasant surprise! I received this 2 days ago and like other reviews of these small 2 stroke generators have said to do I replaced the spark plug when I first got it. I filled it up with 50:1 mix and started on the 3rd pull. after letting it run for a few minutes I added 600 watts load and it ran perfect . runs relatively smooth for a 2 stroke and un like many of the generators in this category it has 2 outlets instead of 1 ..very useful. the only reason I didn't rate 5 star is because I cannot speak to its longevity yet. from what I can tell it feels and looks very solidly built. it really doesn't have that cheap feel that others do. I am happy with it right now and would recommend it for anywhere under $200 its a great value
