The EcoSense weed killer promises to work fast and benignly, killing the target weeds while sparing the grass. It does spare the grass making this a safe product to use on weeds living in the lawn. However, in my experience, it is not a fast worker and may take days to show any results. I used almost a whole container on the weeds in our gravel driveway and the rest on poison ivy. Not surprisingly it didn't seem to have much effect on the durable poison ivy plants. In the driveway it killed at least half the weeds sprayed though it took several days for the weeds to start drooping and browning. A second treatment was necessary for some of the weeds.

I like that the spray is brown (the iron) at highly visible coming out and on the weeds. Want a safe, viable product for the lawn? Then consider the Ortho EcoSense. Want a powerful, fast-killing, blanket killer? This isn't it.
