Operation Procedures

1, Connect the Solar Panel DC supply cables to the DC input terminal of the inverter, be sure that the polarity is correct. Recommended DC input cable size for maximum output is 8AWG or cables that can handle more than 30A. Optimal length would be less than 8m, longer cables will experience higher voltage drop.

2, Connect the supplied AC power cord to the inverter and plug it to a home wall socket.

3, The 3 green LED indicators will start to cycle from left to right when the grid and DC supply is detected. This indicates the inverter is operating under normal condition. The rate of the cycling is according to how much power is being output from the solar panels. The more big output power is, the more fast the rate is. If there is no AC grid detected, the red LED will be on, the inverter will not put out power, and this is called "Island Protection"

This unit did not work as advertised. I think he is selling counterfeit Chinese products, i.e. not from the original manufacturer. Looks like the Chinese are cannabalizing each other and faking the original one; the original costs about $400 for the 1KW and work fine on my grid now. I should have factor in a review I read about non-original grid-tie brand failing after a few months. When I compared the non-original to original's internal, they are parts and layout differences, only the external look-alike.

This inverter tripped my public utility's circuit breaker about every hour. I guess inverter is NOT pure sine wave despite advertisement or it was not able to auto-sync to the grid's fluctuation of frequency or voltage. Unless you employ someone at the circuit breaker flipping it back on very hour, the inverter is as good as useless. Too good a price and it is literally too bad for my good money.
