Reviewing components as well as the system whole:

I read all the reviews and based on what I read I was hesitant to buy. However, knowing that I would have Amazon's support should there was a problem that couldn't be resolved with the vendor, I made the decision to buy Goal Zero. I'm glad I did. First, the tripod doesn't need instructions unless you've never seen a tripod before!
Second, the panel clips are difficult to work with until you realize that that they 'clamp down' facing center flat against the panel. You'll need to be sure to push the center locking pin on the clamp completely though both panels or the panel and tripod support. Once you have the clip completely though lock it down.
When you clamp the clip you'll see the center lock. Make turn to secure it in place.
The clamp is very tight but necessary, after all you don't want the clips to be anything but tight. -You don't want the panel to fall from the tripod and possibly get damaged! -

Aside; I purchased the Goal Zero BONUS Yeti 1250 Solar Generator Kit with cart, (4) Boulder 30 solar panels, (2) panel carrying cases, (1) Solar Tripod (holds 4 panels), 3 Light a Life Lanterns, (10) Boulder Clips.
The system is very pricy but complete. It should have better instructions but thanks to Youtube you'll have video instructions to watch.

My only frustration was from the time I order the unit it was shipped and I received it was longer than expected.
I would NOT let that effect my decision to buy, just realize that it is sent special delivery due to weight (119 lbs.) and only shipped UPS ground from Utah.

Bottom-line: I would not have a problem recommending the system as long as the purchaser is in need for a "complete - all-in-one system and willing to pay for the convenience."
