Keep in mind for about same the price most panels are 12v at 100W.
So, three of these 36v panels would be 108v enough to power a regular light bulb
Where 10 of the 12v panels would be needed to get 120v.
Also, System voltage is 42v, Working Voltage is 36v and Rated voltage is 24v.
Nicely packaged ...I'm keeping for storage.

The soldered on wires did NOT need to be removed and new ones re-soldered on to connect MC4 connectors, MC4 connectors were already installed. Not sure what The panel averaged for watts but, three 100amper hour 12V Batteries in Series for about 2 hours took the panel system voltage from 42V to 36v +/- 2v, raised the Batteries in voltage from 34v to 37.5v in indirect Bright Sun light at my home in Marysville, WA. Getting plenty of power at 36v; Haven't tried the "Rated 24v" load cause, I'm not sure if this would cause an amperage over load or not.
Plus @ +1.5v +3 amps max over all +1 amp per battery, morning and late afternoon low power and no power at night; I see no need for a voltage regulator.

Safety note: Solar panel System voltage is 42v which will give at least a good shock
if not kill ya!
The Panel cannot be turned off. Turn the Panel over. So, the cells are
not exposed to any light at all BEFORE touching any wires or connections.
Make sure when making last complete circut connection; your hands
are insolated.

I have had a Honda 6500KW for the last 10 years and never had an issue. My parents are getting older and needed something for the occasional power outage. We decided to give them the Honda and upgrade to the 10000KW since we live on a farm and tend to lose power often. Wanted a few more KW's to handle week long outages.
Yes it is heavy. Shipping Bill was 322 pounds. Had to use the John Deere loader to lift it out of the truck. Better have a few buddies and some beer to help out! Wish it had the lift hook on the top like the Honda? The larger units do have it.
Tires and frame are more than adequate for this beast. No need to worry about the tires losing air.
Folding lift handles are nice. Had to lube the release button due to sticking in. Filling the oil and attaching the battery are a challenge, same goes for the Honda. Buy a funnel with a nice long flexible nozzle.
When it starts there are LED lights that light up the panel, easy to see at night. Plus, a built in power charger unit for the battery. Instructions tell you not to leave it charging for more than 48 consecutive hours. Outlet timer for a couple hours a day. Plus a 10 gallon tank compared to a 5 gallon tank. Last of all, the air filter has an adjustment for summer and winter to avoid ice build up on your air filter when it is cold. This unit provides a 50 Amp plug as compared to my 30 Amp. Not that we need 50 but it is there just in case.

Goal Zero 29005 Escape 150 Adventure Kit Review

The Boulder 15 Solar Panel is most often sold with the Escape 150 battery pack (the Coffee Maker looking battery), such as in this "kit". The advertisement above says to expect to fully charge the Escape 150 battery from empty charge in about 15 hours using the panel. When I bought the two together I charged the battery to full and then ran it down to empty. The next morning at sun up (I live in the California desert mountains . . so I'm high above the haze layer and have 100% crystal blue sky and sun) so I faced the panel directly at the sun for 11 hours solid. At the end of that time I was knocking on the door of 80% power (75%??) according to the battery charge indicator, and took the next day for another 3 hours (total of 14ish hours) to get the Escape 150 fully charged. Recommendation: if you're going to run the Escape 150 down to empty during the day/night (for laptops, etc.) then you'll need two (2) Boulder 15 solar panels (daisy-chained) to fully recharge the battery the next day. NOTE: Also, I did run the battery to empty off 3 of their LED lights (which are outstanding at 207 illumens 3-watt, "Light-a-life" as they're called). Manufacturer states to expect getting 16 hours of light (with 3 lights daisy chained). I got 17 hours 10 minutes with the Escape 150 battery.

Recently purchased this generator, and took it boondocking for a week, up in Routt National Forest, Colorado. The generator ran fine and was very quiet. The only two problems I experienced with it was the rubber seal inside of the gas cap, and the spark arrestor on the muffler exhaust. The rubber seal disintegrates when it is contacted with gas. Kind of a problem when it's in a gas cap. Maybe they should use cork. The spark arrestor on the tip of the muffler exhaust has approximately 12 layers of metal screen mesh inside of it. This prevents the generator from properly breathing, when there is a 1/4 inch of carbon built up on this screen mesh. My fixes were to remove the rubber gasket from the gas cap, and I removed the muffler exhaust tip with the mesh in it. I intend on putting a different gasket in the gas cap, and am going to extend the muffler tip out from the plastic housing and turn it upwards. Other than these two minor problems, I would have given 5 stars.
